Bathroom Organization Tips

We keep so many hygienic products in our bathrooms that it can be a challenge to keep things looking clean and tidy on a daily basis. The key is to have the right spaces and organizational elements that keep your items out of view while also making them easily accessible for when you need them.

If you have a bathroom vanity with cabinets, then you have a number of options for how to organize your items inside the cabinet. You might also have smaller drawers that you can organize with items based on how often you use them going from top to bottom. Within those smaller pullout drawers, you can place organizers that are intended for the bathroom or even ones intended for kitchen or office drawers if they better suit your items.

For the larger cabinet area, you might consider breaking up the space with plastic shelving for storage. In these plastic shelves, you could store the items that you don't need to access as often. For example, you might dedicate a lower shelf to back-up items for when you run out of shampoo, toothpaste, etc.

If you don't have a linen closet for your bathroom towels, you could also install bathroom cabinets with tall side cabinets for towel storage. Of course, it's nice to leave out a few towels to add a touch of that homey feeling. But other than towels and hand soap, and maybe some decorations, it's best to keep your other bathroom items tucked away.
