Marta Stewart’s Christmas Punch
The flavor of cranberries, lemon and pomegranate make this punch from Martha Stewart a perfect addition to any Christmas party. Combine 2 cups of chilled pomegranate juice and 1 cup of chilled cranberry juice in a punch bowl. Add 8 ounces (1 cup) of vodka, 8 ounces (1 cup) of orange liqueur, 1 cup of chilled club soda, ½ cup of fresh lemon juice (from 6 lemons), and ½ cup of simple syrup. Garnish with lemon slices and ice cubes filled with whole fresh cranberries.
Rachel Ray’s Spiked Hot Mocha
This cocktail by Rachael Ray infuses the flavors of coffee and cocoa, and is the perfect way to warm winter guests. In a saucepan, heat a cup of milk or light cream to just simmering. Pour into 2 heatproof glass mugs and stir in ¼ cup of chocolate liqueur and ¼ cup of coffee vodka, and top with whipped cream. This recipe makes two servings. For a large party, make a large batch in a slow cooker set to low.
Paula Deen’s Mixed Berry Bellinis
Here is a simple and festive cocktail from Paula Deen that gets its rich red color from berries. In an electric mixer, combine a 12-ounce package of thawed frozen mixed berries, and ¼ cup of sugar. Process until your berries are smooth. Strain the mixture if desired, and pour into a serving pitcher. Slowly add a 750 ml bottle of sparkling wine, stirring gently to combine.
Sandra Lee’s Candy Cane Cocktail
This recipe comes from Food Network Star Sandra Lee, with peppermint schnapps to give it that classic candy cane flavor. Add 1 shot of vanilla rum, one shot of white chocolate liqueur, and one shot of peppermint schnapps to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into martini glasses, garnished with a candy cane, of course!
Clinton Kelly’s Whiskey Pear Punch Cocktail
This delicious cocktail is from The Chew’s Clinton Kelly. With nutmeg, pear juice and the flavor of seasonal oranges, it will add a sophisticated touch to your holiday gathering. In a cocktail shaker, add ice, 2 ounces of rye whiskey, ½ ounce of orange liqueur, 2 ounces of pear juice, and a dash of bitters. Shake until well mixed.
