Kitchen Cabinets

Quality kitchen cabinets are an investment in your home. They are also the item that takes the most daily abuse from the family.  In order to care for your cabinets, you want to make sure you are using a great product that will not only keep your kitchen cabinets looking pristine and new, but also won’t harm the environment.

A great all natural way to keep your kitchen cabinets clean is to use all natural all-purpose cleaning products.  There are some fantastic products you could use like *** and ***. And if you’re feeling a little daring you could also try to make your own all natural all-purpose cleaning products out of some simple items like vinegar, borax, washing soda, soap, and essential oils.

Kitchen Floors

Just like kitchen cabinets, kitchen floors can take a lot of abuse. A great way to keep your kitchen floors clean is to use a simple solution of vinegar and water. If you’re worried about the smell don’t be….once the floor dries the smell will dissipate.

Kitchen Sinks

Looking for ways to clean your stainless steel sink? Or maybe you’re looking for a way to deodorize your garbage disposal.  Sprinkle baking soda in your sink then wipe it with a damp sponge and rinse clean. Not only is baking soda a great way to keep your stainless steel sink clean it’s also a great way to deodorize a garbage disposal. Pour ¼ to ½ cup of baking soda down the drain then follow up with ½ cup of vinegar. Let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse clean.

Kitchen Stoves And Counters

Do you spill grease or have grease splatters on your stove or counter when you cook? If you said yes, next time you spill grease on your stove or counter, instead of wiping it up with a sponge and smearing it, sprinkle a little baking soda on top, let it sit for a few minutes, and then brush it away.

We’ve only listed a few products in our article but there are many products found in your home that can also be used as cleaning agents such as lemon, corn starch, and isopropyl alcohol.

Lemon is an excellent sanitizer, a great way to get rid of hard water stains around the kitchen sink, and a fantastic way to clean off sticky surfaces. Isopropyl Alcohol like lemon is also a great disinfectant and can be used to clean surfaces like door knobs, drawer pulls, and cabinet handles.
